Recipe for “First Day of…”

·         4 Sheets of 12 x 12 papers:  2 solid and 2 printed

·         Cut one of the solid sheets in ½ resulting in 2 – 6x12 strips

·         Using one of the 6x12 strips, cut three 4x6 mats

·         With the other 6x12 strip, “Tear” one of the long edges.  Glue this strip to the bottom of one of the printed background 12x12 pieces.  Glue on three sides:  bottom, left side, right side.  This becomes your “pocket”.   Stuff pocket with anything that goes with the pics. Embellish as desired, i.e., title, small pictures, etc.

·         Use the three 4x6 mats on the other printed 12x12 background page3.  These are your photo mats.  You can double mat if desired with your second solid color.  Use this solid color to cut the number for the grade on your favorite die-cut machine.
